Pressure-treated lumber and cedar remain popular for good reason — lower upfront cost and a natural look that many homeowners prefer. We build on properly sized, code-compliant footings so the structure holds up regardless of the surface material.
- Pressure-treated lumber: most affordable, needs staining/sealing every 2–3 years
- Cedar: warmer natural tone, naturally rot-resistant, similar maintenance cycle
- Concrete or helical pile footings sized for Ontario frost depth
